Chin Peng? Why Is It always Chin Peng these past few days? (Chapter 2)

No forgiveness for Chin Peng? The government and some other patriots are really keen on not to allow Chin Peng to come in to Malaysia. Yes he is once a fearful communist thats kills and destroy, but isnt that is such a long time ago?
Before i continue writing this blog, let me say that i'm writing with no bius to either chin peng or the government. This is just one side of the opinion and i would like to state my sorry if theres anyone offended by my writing.
As you may have read from my previous writing about Chin Peng, he is also a Malaysian that hated invaders. Yeah, thats why he is in the MPAJP and PKM at the first place. Fighting the invasion of the British and Japanese colony. Chin Peng maybe have different ways to fulfill his vision but the vision is clear. He may not be lifted as a Malaysian hero or something, no. If that were to happened, i'll be the first one to say no! But he is one Malaysia that is lost in his way to get rid of invaders. And personally i think that Malaysian should allow Chin Peng to come over to Malaysia and meet up with his relatives and family.
Malaysia is becoming one of Asia leading country in term of economy and and infrastructure. The government just launched a 1Malaysia campaign that promotes the union of every races in Malaysia. So why dont we just forgive and forget, and just move on without looking back. We can show the world and in this case Chin Peng, that although he has destroyed many family and lifes before, Malaysia are much more matured and forgiving. The democratic leadership works. And Malaysia is living in MErdeka and in Peace and Harmony. Remember guys, if grudge is what we are having, we are actually repeating the mistakes that we saw Israel and Palestine are doing. They never forgive and they never forget. Look where are they now...

Chin Peng? Why Is It always Chin Peng these past few days? (Chapter 1)

I cant stop but wondering whats the buzz is about Chin Peng? If you guys notice, these past few days the local newspaper keep on writing stories about Chin Peng. " Dont come back Chin Peng" "Dont forgive Chin Peng"..Who is Chin Peng?
***STORY ABOUT CHIN PENG***
Chin Peng is born on 21st October 1924. His real name is actually Ong Boon Hwa and is born in Sitiawan, Perak. He is the 2nd son of his father that is a Chinese immigrants that come over to Malaysia due to the economic breakdown in China in 1930. In late 1939, by which time Chin had completed his study up to Senior Middle One, his school announced that the Senior Middle section was to be closed due to lack of money. He chose to continue his education in the Methodist-run Anglo-Chinese Continuation School, which operated in English, because it provided a good cover for his underground activities and because it was local so he would not have to move to Singapore for schooling. However after six months he left the school "for fear of British harassment".Once out of school, he concentrated on his political activities, and became, from that point on, a full time revolutionary. In January 1940 he had been put in charge of three anti-Japanese organisations that had a scope beyond the schools; they were for students, teachers, other cultural members, and shop assistants. At the end of January, 1940, he was admitted to the Malayan Communist Party as a candidate member.Harassment by the authorities led him to leave his home town for Kuala Kangsar in July 1940. (This may be the same movement as his leaving school, referred to above.) Later he spent a month in Taiping. In September 1940 the party posted him to Ipoh as Standing Committee Member for Perak. In December he attained full Party membership.
In early 1941 AEBUS was dissolved. Chin Peng became Ipoh District Committee Member of the Party. "He led student underground cells of three Chinese secondary schools and the Party's organisations of the shop assistants, domestic servants of European families, workers at brick kilns and barbers." In June 1941 he became a member of the Perak State Committee.

Chin Peng rose to prominence during World War II when many Chinese Malayans took to the jungle to fight a guerrilla war against the Japanese. These fighters, inspired by the example of the Communist Party of China, became known as the Malayan People's Anti-Japanese Army (MPAJA). Chin Peng became the liaison officer between the MPAJA and the British military in South-East Asia.
The Japanese invasion of Malaya began in December 1941. In 1942 Chin was the junior of three members of the Secretariat of the Perak State Committee: Su Yew Meng was secretary, and Chang Meng Ching (hanyan pinyin: Zhang Ming Jin) was the other member. In early 1943 the two senior members were captured by the Japanese, which left Chin Peng in charge. Contact with the Party's Central Committee had been lost; he attempted to re-establish it, travelling to Kuala Lumpur and meeting Chai Ker Meng. Later Lai Tek, the Party leader, sent another Central Committee member, Lee Siow Peng (Siao Ping), to replace Chin as State Secretary. However, Lee Siow Peng was captured not long after, while travelling to a meeting that was to be held in Singapore. It was thus that the job of establishing contact with the British commando Force 136 fell to Chin Peng. The first party of that force, consisting of Capt. John Davis and five Chinese agents, had been landed in Malaya on 24 May 1943, by submarine. Chin Peng made contact with this armed group on 30 September 1943. He was active in his support for the British stay-behind troops, but had no illusions about their failure to protect Malaya against the Japanese. In the course of this activity, he came into contact with Freddie Spencer Chapman, who called him a 'true friend' in his Malayan jungle memoir, 'The Jungle Is Neutral'.
In the course of the war, Chin was awarded an OBE (subsequently withdrawn by the British government), a mention in despatches, and two campaign medals by Britain. He was elected the Secretary General of the Communist Party of Malaya after the betrayal of previous leader Lai Tek who turned out to be an agent for both the British and the Japanese and had denounced the leadership of the Party to the Japanese secret police. Chin Peng was the most senior surviving member.

Music And Religion...

Is there any barriers between music and religion?
Hmmm...I dont think so.
Although music is a form of entertainment, its also a form of mediator between religion and followers. Aint i'm right?
For example ;
1. Muslims do sings Nasyid to educate people about Islam. They also uses Hip-Hop, Pop, and Rock in a different way of preaching.
2. Christian have church choir, Gospel music. They sing about faith and others as their way of preaching.
3. Hindus have their own kind of music(i'm sorry as i dont exactly know whats their names) that talk about their god and Hindu stuff.
...i could go on and talk about other religion but i think all of you are brilliant enough to get what i'm trying to actually say..

So actually in a way, music connect us. Music is something we have in common despite our different believe. Its a way people can connect with each other.
As long as we respect each others faith and believe, and we dont make mockery out someone religion, i think the world are going to be just fine.

The fact that theres a few irresponsible, inconsiderate, and immoral people that dont really care about other people except for themselves is making the simple thing that we call "union" seems like impossible.

Theres also another group of people that dont really respect others believe and  trying to preach them about something that they dont believe. Thats for me is immoral, because you are actually saying that what they believe in is false. How would you feel if someone tell that to you? Yeah...Not really a good feeling ayte..hehe..

So the point i'm trying to say here is, Believe in Whatever you want to believe BUT respect otheres who dont belive the same thing as you do AND try to see beyond your believe, inside yourself, that we are actually the same structure that god put in this wealthy earth AND do also unite with the power of Music....

MALAYSIA, INDONESIA, AND THE ACCLAIMED STOLEN CULTURE?

(September 11, 2009) I can’t help it but to read about an interesting news in most of the newspaper these past few days. It’s about furious Indonesians that claimed that Malaysia has stolen their cultural dance? Sounds weird isn’t it? How can a country with the same geographic and ethnic similarities steal each other culture? Maybe you have read enough in the newspaper, Internets, or in blogs. But if you wanted to know about a young man point of view, please continue reading this.

***THE NEWS***
Last few days since I wrote this article, Malaysians all over the world, especially in Malaysia and Indonesia had been shocked by the news that Indonesia are preparing to go to war with Malaysia? I was mesmerized at first sight. I’ve been thinking, what could Malaysians done to burn the anger of these Indonesians? At first I thought that it is because the minimal wages rates for the Indonesians maids in Malaysia but as I read further it is actually not about that.
Some Indonesians are claiming that Malaysia has stolen their cultural dance that’s called Baliness Pendet Dance. This enrage occur when a Discovery Channel episode that is Enigmatic Malaysia used the dance in the promotion. Yes, the promotion of Malaysia used the Baliness Pendet Dance in it, but it is not produces by the Malaysia government or Malaysian Tourism Board. It is produced by Discovery Channel. And for the record, Discovery Channel has apologized to the Indonesian Government for the mistake. So is it rational and right to be mad at a brothers country when there’s nothing wrong done?

**AREN’T WE BROTHERS?**
I have to accept the Malaysian Government ignorance to filter the content of the promotion. We supposed to filter anything that’s published bringing Malaysia name that can spark controversy between neighboring countries. That is our fault and we admit it. But it is no reason whatsoever to act like a stone man. Blackmailing and threaten Malaysians while they are not responsible for the event occur. Malaysians student in Indonesia is the group of Malaysians that had been affected so much by this event. Students supposed to be wise about these things. They should know that Malaysia and Indonesia share the same culture as The Sultan-ship in Tanah Melayu begins from Parameswara that is the prince of Java King. So, in an easy explanation, Indonesians and Malaysians are brothers started long since the opening of Bandar Melaka.
So, one can’t claimed that the dance, the culture is theirs as we are actually one (Satu Rumpun). And to be more accurate and precise, our culture and even language is mostly taken from India(Hindu), China, Arabs(Islam) and Portuguese. What we have is actually a shared culture.

**RESPECT**
I really don’t understand this. Whenever two country or two political parties have some controversy and misunderstanding, they’ll always burn the flag. Can any body tell me why? Doesn’t anyone teach any of them manners and respect?
In Yogyakarta University, educated Indonesians burn Malaysian flag to show their anger towards Malaysians. Some hackers hacked into Malaysian website and accusing Malaysia of stealing and everything else on the Merdeka day. If anyone haven’t been taught about respect, it’s them. I can understand if you are a bit angered by the fact that your cultural heritage has been misused and misunderstand to be others. But in a sense that Malaysia and Indonesia have long been helping each other and have international political stability, please don’t ruined it. A flag is a nation symbol and what they believe in. If you burn another country’s flag, you are disrespecting what they believe. Try and imagine it’s your Holy Book or your country flags being burned. Will you be furious?

**FROM AN INDONESIAN POINT OF VIEW**
This is an interesting article in The Star;Thursday;10 September 2009: Page W48. It is an article from the Asia News Network and Jakarta Post.

**HOPES AND A PIECE OF ME**
I personally hope that whatever it is they’re fighting for can be resolved in a good way with no bloodbath or war involved. Its sad to see our brothers and sisters from the same great ancestors are fighting over some ridiculous matter that can be resolved without any controversy. Be rational and please don’t behave like a man from the ice ages. Barbarians with no brains. We have more similarities than we ever wanted to. This is our genes and this is our culture. Friendship, and the Polite Asian. This is who we are. Don’t get influence by all the violence in TV. Those are bullshit! Please, if you are reading this…Help by tagging this notes around. 1Malaysia 1Rumpun 1Suara.

MUZIK DI MALAYSIA? RELEVENKAH GELOMBANG INDIE?

2004..Gelombang INDIE mula dikenali arus perdana.

D.I.Y(Do it Yourself).

*Setelah saya menulis blog ini dan mengkaji kembali dengan lebih mendalam, nuzik indie sebenarnya bermula di Eropah dimana mereka menggelarkan muzik rock moden sebagai "indie". Sebenarnya muzik ini lebih kepada jenisan pop seperti brit-pop atau power pop.

TALENT = HARDWORK = TALENT

It is a talent to be hardwork and it needs hardwork to become talented. This is a philosophy that i hold and i tell anyone who has given up because he is un-talented or never work because he think he is talented. Talent. Some says that it is a gift from god from the beginning of our life. Some says that it is one thing that you have that not everyone have it. Yes, all what they say is right. But for me it have a different perspective overall. People who only have talent but dont work hard will only waste their talent. Really! Have you ever meet a friend that you know is talented but never get anywhere with his/her talent? I have one. A friend of mine is a born sportsman. He have an athletics body and he is so easy to pick up any sports technique. But one thing he lack is hardwork. He never trains and never ever workout. No hardwork. So where he is at now? No where. This can show how important is hardwork although you have talent you need to work it out. So how about un-talented person? For me there is no such thing. God is a very fair. Every human being have their own talent. It is just wether they know it or dont. That is why i'm saying talent = hardwork and hardwork = talent...Think about it...

OPENING 10% UiTM QUOTA TO NON-BUMIS(between politics and dignity) : November 15, 2008

Theres so much fuzz among Malays when Dato Khalid Ibrahim (new Selangor MB from PKR) make a statement that he is going to opened up 10% quota for non-bumis to come in. Most of the feedback are negative. They are saying that Dato Khalid is totally wrong and outrages to make a statement like that, that can spark racial problems. Some even called him the Malay Traitor! That is to much i think. The statement that is made after the pRU2008 is bound to spark controversy and for UMNO and BARISAN NASIONAL leaders who just lost the state of Selangor(One of Malaysia's most stable and developed state) this is the right thing for him to do. Political advantages will be gain by the government and they can build in the hatred for Dato Khalid and PKR among the Malays.

If we look back in to history. Theres an awefull event called the Black 13, 13th May 1969. That is when There is a big fight between the Malays and the Chinese. Hundreds were killed and millions was affected by this event. This is the reasons given by the government to shut Dato Khalids mouth. If you were to reads journals and books from the British Arkib and other author about 13th May, you'll see that theres always a different story to tell. For me , it is like we are being fool by our own country, our own leaders. The history learned in School is FAKE! and it is done in bius to UMNO.

So back to opening the UiTM to non-bumis. I personally think that this isnt a big issue after all. It is just politics and the government is using it to gain symphaty from the Malays, To show that they care about the Bumis and they will fight for the Bumis. It is all that dirty politics after all. I personally supporting the opening of 10% quota to non-bumis. For me there is no reasons for any government or any universities in the world to limit its student to only one specific races. University in general is a place where students come for their higher education and researchers doing their research. Some people i know said, what will happened to our children and grand children if thers no UiTM? How much money must we pay for our child to study at a private college? How is the Malay status and special right? Those are just childish question that is being asked and answered by our childish leaders. Let me answer these questions.

What will happen to our child and grand child later? They will still get to go to university but according to their academic qualification. Not due to the quota of Bumis. This for me will enable future generation to work harder and achieved. Other races can do it although there is no special right. They can succeed and yet the statistics shows that there is more Chinese and Indians rich people rather than the Malays. Dont judge future generationby the way you are right now. You are a sucsidized citizens that is to lazy to work up your ass to have a better life and rather to live in comfort of Special rights. Wake Up! If you are this kind of person, no matter how much UiTM are there, no matter how many special rights are there, you will still be no one. Other races will certainly get advantages over you.

How much money must we have to pay for private college? Hah. This is a lazybump talking. If you are asking this question than you are just so lazy to improved your life and doesnt really care about your child. You are just putting your child future on government subsidies and special rights. Be a gentleman. Dont ask anybody for anything man. Get up and build your life!

Special Rights? This is the most sensitive issue of all.For malays at least. We(malays) have these rights since the independence from 1957. Back then, Tunku Abdul Rahman, Tan Cheng Lock and Tun Sambanthan make a decision to make a law governing Malays rights as they are the Bumis(people who live/own the country before modernization). Since then Malays are pampered and bless with all these special rights and laws which enables them to be lazy and right although it is not what supposed to be. If you guys read articles and journals, and do some research, you'll know that actually all these things is a political propaganda that is planned by the British and carried out by the Malaya's leaders. It is actually 'the thing' that make malays weak and dreadful. That is my oppinion. Malays who keep holding to their special rights is thinking that they can be less hardworking than other races and what this lead us? Malays becoming the poorest races in Malaysia. Our own country as we say. I'm saying this regarding to the topic i opened. Opening the 10% quota. I'm not saying that the special rights should be abolished or anything. I actually believe that those things/laws/rights are needed to maintain stability and harmony that we have accomplished for so many years. So, think about it i would say.

In this blog, i would be seen as not being grateful and not being patriotic to this country. But for me, i'm writing this down because i wanted to change the mindset of my race(MALAYS) and all aother races in Malaysia. If we really think about it, people are made by gods with differences for us to accept each other and try to live tigether in peace and harmony. Not fighting all the time and declaring war against each other..That is till now. My battery is runningg low...Keep reading my blog k guys..
